WEBTALK UPDATE: We have fully recovered our reputation with gmail and now our emails should NOT be going to spam. Our invite emails may still go to “promotions”, but the verification emails should be going into the inbox.
People (your referrals) who have not received them should login to Webtalk and request a new verification email. If they cannot login, then unfortunately they typed an incorrect email address when they signed up and will have to sign up again.
We are putting in place a “confirm email” feature on the last step of the sign up process just in case a new user made a mistake they can correct and resend the verification email without signing up again.
We are working on SMS as a verification option, but it will be a couple weeks before we can get that deployed. Also, due to the costs in some countries, it will not be available worldwide right away.
Webtalk emails may still be going to spam for other providers such as; live, hotmail, outlook, yahoo, etc. We are working to resolve that issue as well.
We are working as quickly as possible to rectify the problems and put in place alternative solutions as well.
Lastly, today we decided to move up mobile apps in the priority list. Part of the mobile app MVP (minimum viable product) will be the ability to import phone contacts and send them SMS invites through our apps.
